Glad you've got hedgehogs. This is a lovely area. We have evening visitors too, and when we had our new gate fitted earlier this month we got the landscaper to cut it high so they can creep underneath. They come in at darkness for their cat food..

Same here, in fact last night I went to check on their feeding station to see whether I had to refill and one was sitting inside munching away! 🦔
