Thank you for all your comments , Klahanie you should see the Flint buildings which was the truly traditional material to build with in Norfolk and along the coast the wealthier the person the nicer the pattern on the exterior , google flint cottages Norfolk, England and then the images tag to see photos ..

I'm glad you found it interesting Klahanie some villages are entirely built of flint . you may like to google Grimes graves Norfolk where they used to dig out the flint underground eons ago with only a candle for light in the dark tunnels ...
