Crabapple "Red Sentinel"

Very pretty soft pink buds opening to white flowers. Very ornamental in fall also when it is covered with little red apples. Planted for wildlife on edge of the forest (many years ago) but wildlife ignores it and the ornamental beauty is lost in that location. Bees might find it OK so not all is lost.

It’s a lovely shade of pale pink, I think the bees will definitely find it!

Really lovely blossom and the bees will definitely approve...
To stop our apples trees from growing too large we prune them in August, cutting just above a leaf joint leaving 3 or 4 leaves on the little growing shoots.

I love the little red fruits Klahanie, they look so decorative, I had one in my previous garden I don't think I have room for one now ,I'll have to admire yours instead !
