Escallonia 'Apple Blossom'

mine is in flower too.

This was planted in July 2020, possibly in too shady a spot, but it seems to have settled in really well.

Is it covered in bees? My track record with escallonia is patchy!!

I have three different Escallonias and the Bees seem to favour the flowers late afternoon/evening ...

I saw an escallonia iveyi a couple of years ago, Shirley, and I remember it was swarming with bees - they were SO loud. Never seen anything like it. I bought one but lost it fairly quickly :-(

I wonder why you lost it ... right plant, wrong place perhaps?
