Rhododendron Bruce Brechtbill

I purchased this tiny plant last week (for cheap). It had this only little flower and I thought it was pretty.
Google search revealed that this is a sport of rhododendron "Unique'. I do not have a big success with that rhododendron so hopefully I will have a better luck with this one.
The story goes that in about 1966, a plant of R.'Unique' at the nursery in Oregon (US) was discovered to have pink, rather than the characteristic cream-white flowers. Bruce Brechtbill, the owner of the nursery, then propagated this sport. He died in 1973 and in the following year the new selection was submitted for registration under the name ‘Bruce Brechtbill’ in honor of the late nurseryman.
