I bought this penstemon in April last year after hearing good things about it. It has lived up to the praise, coming through the winter without any protection, and is now three to four feet tall. For a sunny position in well-drained soil. You might struggle to find a supplier - I got mine from Larch Cottage in Cumbria

Me, too. Larch Cottage seem to have an enormous selection of plants. We visited a few years ago.

Worth seeking out.

That’s a lovely one. For a minute I thought it was the same as one that has appeared in my garden … a blue and white penstemon that I’ve never seen before (I only have Heavenly Blue and Garnet). Several people at my ‘open garden’ day asked about the name, and of course I hadn’t a clue!
