Lacecap Hydrangea

Lacecap Hydrangea

"Bluebird"
Looks like it needs more acidity to be blue . This plant grows from a piece of cutting of the original (bought) plant we have on deck for many years. Just "sticked" in a pot and it rooted. It is it's third summer. I am usually not very successful in growing plants from cuttings so I am pleased with it. Looks as nice as the mother plant.

Yes it does look a good size specimen, nice even with the pink flowers.

Thank you Sheila and Anget. I am kind of proud of myself even if it was probably a fluke.
Much nicer to look at than the BBQ behind it.

Gosh, you've been lucky there, Klahanie!!! Green fingers indeed!
It's looking a very attractive hydrangea, very healthy and I do love the colour, although I'm guessing you'd prefer if it was on the bluer side..

I will try again Kate, hopefully will be successful as well.
I had a good luck propagating a Rosemary and Pyracantha from cutting.
