I didn't have any luck with seeds this year,none of the Cosmos germinated,but my lovely neighbour was successful with his,so he gifted a few to me,bless him..:o) I feel a bit guilty,as mine are so big and healthy,and his look really scraggy.:o( I can't see even one bud on any of mine though,which is unusual ? lots of foliage..and that's it ! xx.

You were lucky then Sandra! Does your neighbour know how good yours are?
It's strange why yours aren't flowering though!
Since living here ( clay soil) I have never had any luck with Cosmos.
They don't grow very big and even when I dead head them, not many more flowers follow!
Years ago in one garden we had , the cosmos grew as big as a small tree! Very weird! xxx

Yes he does Rose,as we chat every day,and we share some of the long border at the front of the Bungalow,so he is aware how different they are.. Luckily,I haven't seen him smiling through gritted teeth yet ! ha ha.
I've always been able to grow them,so it must be my soil ? xx.
