Prairie in the hot weather

I hope everyone (and their garden) survived the hot weather more or less intact. Thought you might like to see how my prairie coped - it faces due south and never receives any water apart from any that falls from the sky. We're having a very dry time here in Bracknell - only 30 seconds of rain yesterday (who stole our thunder storms?)
