Salvias

A second flush of flowers for the first two. The bog salvia only just starting to bloom. I love it’s blue flowers, sorry that it is not very clear. I have a close up of it in my photos.

Wonderful salvias, Josee! I have salvia envy!!!! What care do you give them at the end of the flowering season?

Thank you. I trim about a third off Pink lips & Clotted cream but they have not been given any protection since I bought them 3 years ago. The Bog Salvia is in a pot, last year it was cut right down like a herbaceous plant & I put it in the shed as I didn’t want to risk losing it.

They are all thriving amazingly, Josee. I do love Salvias as they seem to be happy flowering all season, and have been quite happy with the hot weather!

Nice looking plants, FF! There are several S. Hot Lips around here! Our council gardeners used lots o Salvias this year in the flower displays around town!😀
