Lady Boothby now in it's permanent place.
Hopefully this one will do much better in the garden!

Thanks Julia! I think I bought the obelisk with the birds on from Wilkos years ago.
Thank you Kate.
Looking forward to next year when it flowers!

Rose, that looks the ideal spot for 'Lady Boothby' and I too look forward to seeing more of her next year!

Rose, I hope you didn't get the dreadful windy weather we had overnight. So far, locally, a beach hut has been overturned, a tree is blocking a B road and a bus shelter is leaning at a crazy angle ... :o((
Surprisingly, the only damage we can find here is overturned pots and an obelisk almost horizontal, phew!

Oh dear Shirley! I am pleased you didn't get any damage!
It has been windy here but not really strong winds.
We may get it soon though as it was forecast, but when the wind is coming from the west , by the time it gets to us on the east has fizzled out.
Thanks for thinking about us! xx

Rose, good to know your area didn't have those gale force winds, apparently 116 mph was recorded at The Needles off The Isle of Wight!

Oh my Shirley! I would imagine there was a lot of damage!
Very calm here at the moment.

Rose, today is chilly but dry and sunny. Typical, as I've no laundry to peg out!

Looks good in position, Rose. I’m with Julia, it is a lovely decorative feature.
