Slow grower that needs warm all year. Does flower and reseed as I have three little ones popping up.

Small and purple Kate. They flower close to the ground..no spike. I've given it aquarium water and that perked it right up.

Its an ultra tropical..wont take nights in the 40's or so. My first try with this plant was hardly any growth in summer outdoors, then died in winter on the porch. This one has been in a warm room all summer. It even reseeded to the point of three small seedlings have popped up.

I didn’t know it was so tropical. It seemed to do well outside. It flowered one year and then died.

I’m liking the orange touches, Stan. What colour will the flowers be?
