One of those "been around since the dinosaurs" plants that does well in a Med climate. I've grown it since it was a 3" cutting circa 2006.

Common name is Rock fern...but its not a fern. Phlegmariurus squarrosus. A usually tropical genus,this is the most cold hardy of the native tropical plants. Slow growers make them collectable.

Well done for growing it Stan. I love the Horsetails that we get around here. They go back a long way. I'd like to go back in time to see what the world was like in Dinosaur times....but not to be seen...I would have been eaten up....LOL.
