This rare tropical Cuban palm is very slow growing and extremely expensive. It’s 6 ft (2 m) and is growing at my friend’s house in northern San Diego. Photo taken Dec. 17, 2022.

It receives a lot of heat here. I hope it does very well there! It’s was an extremely expensive palm at just over 6 ft tall. It came from south Florida, originally. I know it’s not as hardy as Copernicia baileyana (but looks very similar).
I’ll do a follow up in a few years.

That clump of Aloe is fantastic too. I have an old planting of an Aloe mitriformis and it's like two stems in 20 years.

I’m going to post a pic of the very large, beautiful Aloe bainesii, tonight. It’s a stunning tree!

One of the world's most beautiful palms. Very exotic.
