An orange Ancistrus catfish aka "Bristlenose" for the feelers it has. The aquatic fern behind it is a very slow grower. Its taken three years to make a clump.

They love greenery Kate. I've tossed in veggies every now and then.
The Trident Java fern is one of those some find hard to grow and slow when it does. It took me awhile to find a spot where its happy. Not too much light and not too little. Fussy. The slow growth does mean I don't have to constantly prune it like some fast growing aquarium plants. It's a choice small plant.

Smashing pic, Stan! I've googled your catfish. Very interesting info, I read they can eat cucumber, zucchini and carrots!!!! Is this true?
The fern is a slow grower as you say, is it something you chose for it's growth speed?
