Listening for the mole.

If only she would catch it!

Ange, I put 'Like' for your gorgeous cat, definitely not for the mole damage. How long has that been going on?

Over a year, Shirley. OH was close to tears of frustration after spending ages reseeding the lawn and rolling it to make it more even. Hours of 'grass-bothering' as I call it. All for these *****y things to wreck half of it. They're all through the borders, too, displacing plants. We've tried everything but all to no avail. Last year they even tunnelled under our old patio and surfaced next to the house walls!

That's dreadful for you ... do pest control firms have any form of eradicating them?

Oh crikey, Ange. I can see why your so very upset. Especially after all the fastidious lawn care and hours put in to make it look healthy and good too..
I put a like for your gorgeous girl too, bless her.
I had a patient, a retired farmer, years ago. He used mole traps. Not sure how people feel about this?

I have a feeling that if we trapped this one(s), Kate, there'd be others following on behind. There must be tunnels all round the garden.

Our 'lawn' is a disaster, Paul, and they're still tunnelling (in the borders, too) Quite dispiriting. They've upended a number of plants and bulbs, damned things!
