Thank you, Ladies. I meant it had survived the transplanting from soil to pot well, Shirley. Last year someone on here was concerned about doing just that, I remembered.

Thanks, Paul and Kate. I have a love-hate relationship with spotty hellebore leaves but the flowers can be splendid (or mud-coloured!) We have lots of self-seeders this year which have flowered and most of them are worth keeping, luckily. Also the native small green flowered ones are increasing.
