Corydalis corner (Corydalis solida)

I've been building up a carpet of corydalis by moving self sown seedlings from other parts of the garden

Well done Andrew ... such a pretty little area.

That is lovely. Do you have any other plants (bulbs) in there for later?

I'm trying to do this too but so far mine are all lovely shades of pink. You very kindly sent me some small ones and they are flowering beautifully.

Sbg - if you get a red one, a purple one, and a white one, you should seedlings of different colours as I'm guessing there will be a bigger gene pool. That's the way I started

Kahanie - there are some uvularia for later in spring, but the area gets covered in leaves from an adjacent magnolia grandiflora that sheds them all year round

I am glad that you mentioned the Magnolia grandiflora Andrewr. I am getting it of my list of blooming evergreens which I want and deer does not. We have plenty of our very messy native Arbutus menziesii . One huge one next to our main deck. Otherwise a lovely tree.
