Thanks, Lindak. She didn't but I did! She even insisted on taking photos of them in my fingers even though I told her they would be too small to be visible in a photo! She looked a bit sad about that so I switched the phone camera to Macro mode as that way you can get very close up to something very small & it won't be blurry. So she took another photo of my prickle infested fingers! 😆

When we lived down the road I had a lot of cacti and I remember it well....prickled fingers.... I hope they flower well for you this year.

Thanks, Lindak, Only one of the 6 I have has ever flowered. It's the same one every year & I hope it will flower even better this year. It's a tall barrel shaped one that produces magenta pink flowers in a circle .

I don't know if you can get cacti feed but I used to give the cacti a feed of tomato fertiliser in the spring. The round cacti we had flowered in a circle.

I'm not sure if I have ever given them any tomato fertilizer but as I often water ALL my plants with tomato fertilizer during the summer I may well have done the same with the Cacti, but I don't have any specific memory of doing so.
