It's the neighbours' Morello cherry tree, Klahanie. We never get any though, the blackbirds get their fill first! I can see these shrubs from the kitchen window so they're a bonus at this time of year.

I'll happily give up the cherries in order to watch the antics of the birds, Klahanie. About your own cherry: I think it's sometimes easier to give up on a plant than suffer the irritation of watching it going downhill or not performing well!
