Ange, we haven't joined in. We've a small, curvy shaped lawn. We try to maintain the ornamental look. If we left it, it'd look ropey, the whole back garden would. So, we look to the wild bund directly above and it's a haven for wildlife and wild flowers fortunately.

Have you seen many bees about, Kate? We're very lacking here it seems and they don't even appear much on the sunny days..

Ange, our ceanothus is quite large and in full bloom, the bees are buzzing in abundance! We're very fortunate!
