Rhubarb

I inherited few plants of rhubarb and this is my effort from this year's first crop. Added couple of apples, few walnuts, little bit of cinnamon, brown sugar and crisp from oats We enjoyed it outdoors with an afternoon tea.

Looks truly scrumptious Klahanie. We've just eaten our first rhubarb picking. I made a crumble.

I grew some wallflowers near to the rhubarb and it was a second year of tall flowers. When it came to taking them out, underneath it had forced the rhubarb up. I didn't know I had large young stalks of rhubarb already there.
