Taiga Clematis

There's a story with this Clematis when I bought it from Taylors...On receiving it I duly planted by their instructions and gave it a good feed.The first year it had minimal flowers which looked very dissimilar to how they should.I contacted Taylors and explained I thought they had sent me the wrong one.They were adamant it was correct and to contact them the following year which I duly did + photos. It was definitely not Taiga...after seeing the photos they agreed there must have been a mixup when packaging and apologised profusely. This year It is flowering its socks off and looking very much at home! Oh forgot to say they kindly sent a voucher which was nice!
I wonder how often this happens...has anyone had a similar experience?
