I love these blue flowers and am happy they have survived the wet Winter.

Josie, a couple of years ago I began pulling them up, thinking mistakenly that they were Grape Hyacinth foliage!

I can understand that. The grape hyacinths spread everywhere. I always trim their lanky foliage back, doesn’t affect their flowering, & of course , I dig up any surplus. Glad you realised your mistake in time. We had gentle rain last night, the first since 6th May!

Josie, there is no reason for my dislike of Grape Hyacinths, I just do! Whenever I see one in flower I dig it right out.
We had about four hours of rain through the afternoon and evening, mind you, I have just dug up an old Sedum and the rain has barely penetrated the soil!

Lovely blue flowers on these plants!
How different can we be, Shirley? A few weeks ago I spread some of my Grape Hyacinths to other pots on the balcony! 😆
I doubt the Sedum will mind that the rain hasn't penetrated very far into the soil! 😆

David, it certainly wouldn't do for everyone to like the same plants. How dull our gardens would be!

They must go walkabout Kate, there are little groups of them all over the border now. Not that I'm complaining!
