Like it. I've grown a lot from seed this year ('Bishops' Children') and the hoverflies seem to love these singles, I've noticed. Must mark the ones I want to keep and try to overwinter them too.

Thanks Siris ... I am chuffed they made it through the Winter.
Ange, I'm so glad you wrote 'Bishop' as I cannot find the label to this one and now you have nudged my memory to thinking this is one of those.

A perfect bloom, Shirley. I do love the colouring too. I’m pleased it made it through the winter for you.

Kate, the first time I saw this variety was in my Mum's garden, but she disliked them and got rid of them after they had bloomed ... :o(

My dahlia’s I left in the ground but mulched have survived however the ones I dug up and wrapped up and left in shed sadly didn’t survive. Used to be the other way round! Love the colouring on yours.

Ams, that's just typical isn't it?!! Many years ago, when I was a very new gardener, I lifted and stored some Dahlias, labelled them all with paper tags. You can imagine what happened ... they all came through but the ink on the paper labels had faded to nothing!
