Yes it can be a nuisance, I've tried getting rid of mine and have had a degree of success but it still pops up in some places. I like it though, and wish it would behave.

Yes, Hywel, some degree of refereeing is required! Sheila gave me seed for a white form which I shall sow this autumn. I think I shall like the white form more as this is quite lilacy - not my favourite colour, really.

Love this …. I only have the white variety (Malva moschata alba) but love it when it self seeds.
