Our Olive on the top of the rockery. Yes, odd place to plant it! It's a little difficult to see properly as the Ivy is obscuring it. OH stabilised it a little more last week.

Ditto Klahanie … except that I took mine out of a warm greenhouse too early 🙁.

From our back garden we can see two Olive trees in other gardens ... huge trees now!

Thank you, Julia. I do hope it continues to grow up and above the other plants. Thanks for the info too!

Many thanks, Sheila. I’m sorry to hear your Olive isn’t doing very well at the moment. I was unsure if ours would survive, fingers crossed. Hope you decide to go with another Olive! Sad about the one struggling in your garden.

Thanks Klahanie. What a pity yours succumbed to the wildlife around. Ours in in a fairly sheltered spot, the bund is directly behind it. We have had a few green olives in late autumn in the past couple of years. This year I’ve noticed teeny tiny little ‘balls’ all over it? Flowers? Tiny fruit? They are an olive colour.

Oh, Shirley! Sounds like a touch of the Mediterranean in your neighbours garden? I’m not sure how long ours will take to grow, I think they take a while? Fortunately it’s on part of the bund, at the low end, the ‘rockery section’.

What else?
See who else is growing Olea europaea (Aceituna).
See who else has plants in genus Olea.

Good to see your lovely Olive ... I'm fairly sure mine's a goner, but I'll definitely look for another :)
