I have shown this Clematis just recently but wanted to show it at its maximum reach.

It really is a lovely display of leaf and bloom, Julia. I like its abundance of flowers and its dense leaf.

We have a clematis like your one and it flowers over the summer. It's a real little do-gooder. We cut ours back in the winter. We let it clamber over the shrubs at the back of the flowerbed.

It certainly is Meadowland. Ours is a lilac colour with a white middle.
