Thanks, Janey! It was a bit of luck really as when I went to get one of these the majority had a lot of mildew on them! This was one that didn't have any mildew & looked nice & strong even though there were no flowers open. I just had to go by the picture on the label. But I'm very happy with the flowers since they have opened & I've had quite a few flowers on the plant!

So pleased it grew well for you. I've had mildew in the garden on new rose growth. I thought it appeared if the weather was very dry.. but along with that we've also had the downpours. We just have to take what comes and try to deal with it..

We gardeners have to be an optimistic bunch or we'd never get through the year to start all over again the following year!

Mildew killed my Petunias on the balcony railing at least a month earlier than other years but no other plants have been affected by it.
