That looks so pretty.

Its topsoil that I had to buy Marguerite. Its about four inches thick and cost a fortune lol. Its also full of every imaginable weed!! I will take some pics of the back gardens when it stops raining and you can see the topsoil properly there. Underneath that topsoil is the proper clay. Some blue, some orange. Each year i will move the topsoil to one side where i can and put a layer of mulch down then replace the topsoil, trying not to disturb it too much. I will perhaps just do it about a foot at a time and replace the topsoil the way it came up. Hard work but i have to get that clay to surrender somehow !!! lol
