Crimson Queen Japanese Maple

in the snow....surprise.

2 days ago we had an ugly storm passing through. High winds, lots of rain an very cold. Temperature dropped to 0 C over night, It s all gone but still cool. Low teens durinng the day for next week.
This lace leaf maple comes out dark red in the spring, changes to green (in this spot) during summer and turns orange-red (crimson?) in fall.
