Sanchezia nobilis - Sanchezia

Sanchezia nobilis - Sanchezia (Sanchezia nobilis - Sanchezia)

My Sanchezia plant is now two years old. It’s grown very well in more sun than shade. I think this poor plant wants to be put into the ground. It hasn’t flowered yet, unfortunately. Photo taken Nov. 14, 2023.

Another lovely plant that would probably thrive as a houseplant in the UK!

It only does okay as an indoor plant. It needs lots of light.

I had one for a few years and really never should have lost it. That one is on me. As I recall it bloomed like in late winter..a surprise.

See? lol. It was so easy to propagate I sold some to a local nursery. Then we had a very cold winter-2007? and it faded. I should order one.

I’ve started one from a cutting. I’m going to start more.
