So many berries Shirley, shall you take some clippings in for the house? I noticed just today, I've a few male blackbirds squabbling over my firethorn berries now. Usually it's the woodpigeons, thank goodness not this year!

Janey, since our new neighbours removed most of the huge Bay tree we rarely have a Blackbird in our garden now, such a shame. I shall definitely bring some of the Holly in for the house.

Two excellent winter shrubs. I do love that Holly. It fruits reliably, unlike some. And the gold variation makes for a very colourful winter.
