This beautiful litchi tree was flushing new growth in December. It’s probably 12 to 14 ft tall and around 15 to 18 ft wide. Not sure which variety it is, but it had several air-layers on it (It must be a good variety). Photo taken in San Diego on Dec. 8, 2023.

Thanks, and it’s probably a 6 to 9 year old air-layered tree.

Its been a mild December. My Champagne Mango still has a few green-yellow fruit. I'm waiting for more color on those latecomers. So far Champagne has been sweeter than Manila.
Great looking Lychee. If I had the room...as usual.

That’s great you’re still able to enjoy mangoes in December.
It’s been mild here. It was 80 degrees today. The coldest morning low has been 49 degrees, so far…But, mostly in mid-50’s.
So many of my plants are growing strong right now.

Thanks 🙏
Lychee trees are extremely ornamental even if they don’t bear fruit.
I can’t believe how much growth has been put out in the last few weeks on my little lychee tree. Lychee trees have a reputation of growing very slowly here. (Not my tree, though).
