Syagrus botryophora - Bahia Palm

These palms have grown very quickly to more than 40 ft tall. It’s becoming a very common palm here in mild areas of California because of its extremely fast growth. Its caveat is that it’s susceptible to being blown over in high winds. My friend had three beautiful trees, now he only has one. Two were blown down in the last few years from storms.
