Yes, hazels bloom earlier. We also have some but never see a nut because of squirrels and jays. I hope you get some Linda.

So do I Klahanie. I make some scones and chop the nuts to add to the mixture.

We've had a lot of catkins on the Hazel this year. Perhaps we'll get a few hazelnuts.
