Yes Karen, with advancing years we do appreciate gardens that we can potter in without them being stressful 🙂.

Yes Sheila. The main concern was always that vicious Hawthorn Hedge. We would eventually have got someone in to cut it, but they would have trampled all my borders and left loads of thorns on the ground. There was always some part of it needing cut!

Our “bane” is a massive Laurel hedge which grows too fast. We’d love to get rid but unfortunately it belongs to next door and removal would almost certainly be beyond our means even if the cost was shared 🙁.
