Clematis - Rouge Cardinal

Mine didn't like me at all - it disappeared!

I planted 'Niobe' close by which did not survive. Sane location same conditions.

Lovely flower on the clematis. I've got a pink clematis growing in with the climbing rose and I feed them both now and again. Perhaps it depends on the acidity of your soil. They like an ericaceous soil.

You are probably right Linda. We have very acidic soil.
