The buds have finally broken!

I bought this JapanesE Persimmon tree in a sale, very late. It was bare root so I really didn’t think it would grow, especially with this cold year. But as soon as we got a bit of warmth the buds started swelling. I am very excited to see how it does. It’s in a pot and it will probably always be in a pot as I don’t want it to get too big. Apparently this species is very tough. Maybe we’ll even get some fruits! But not this year.
