This very upright Fuchsia does take a while to establish. But in the South of England it takes a good year less than in Eastern Scotland! A beautiful plant. Both foliage and blooms.

I have this one Karen curtesy of Shirley and it is huge and came through the winter!
It is also my mother's maiden name.

Rose, I'm pleased yours is growing well. I now have three of them around the garden and the Bees are loving the flowers.

Ha! I got stung by I bee recently as I tried to wrestle the obelisk off the Fuchsia. It was sleeping in the plant, poor thing. But it kept its sting so should be fine. My daughter was telling me that worldwide there are far more wasp species that die after singing than bees, but in the UK it’s more the Bees that die. Amazing isn’t it?

Karen, that's a really interesting fact that I didn't know about.
Yesterday we were out in a park and Michael said to me "Don't move" ... there was a Bee right by my ear ... he brushed it away with his hand!

I love this Fuchsia and it propagates so easily from cuttings too.
