Brandywine Tomato.

First time growing these. They are supposed to be a Heritage variety from about 1900. They are weird shaped but very big. This one weighed in this morning at 606 grams which it seems is 1.336 pounds in "old money".

My friend is growing Brandywine tomatoes as well, they are tasty for sandwiches and salads. I am usually growing Romas for sauces.
