Cosmos, Sunflower & Morning Glory in planter by cash machine 7th August 2024

Yes, I'm pleased to say! must be the cat "manure"! 🤣

In fact I believe I saw a flower bud just forming on one plant!

Excellent, for the flower bud, not the cat fertilizer!

I watered them again today & checked for buds on the Cosmos plants - 2 plants have buds that will open this coming week!

I've watered the 3 planters on Wednesdays & Saturdays & I'll continue like that unless we have some heavy rain.

When I watered them on Monday, because of the extreme heat we were forecast, I noticed that the very first flower has now opened on them! Soon they will be a mass of flowers! 👏 👏 👏

I'll see if I can take a photo or two this weekend with the first of the Cosmos flowers open. As I water them on Saturdays I should be able to get couple of photos then.

As the cash machine & the planters are visible from the small window over our kitchen sink I should be able to see the Cosmos flowers in a couple of weeks without having to go outside!
