I bought a collection of outdoor tomatoes from Sarah Raven. This year has been so tough on them, but I have had a few and there are loads on the plants, still green. But look at the size of this whopper! It keeps growing!

I have tied the stem above to a cane, which will support it Shirley.

Hi Klahanie. This is the collection I bought, so this must be Black Russian variety. https://www.sarahraven.com/products/outdoor-planting-tomato-collection
Hi Kate….will they ever ripen? I’m getting a cherry tomato about every 3 days atm! It’s just been such a poor year for them. I’ll try again next year….if the spring is decent.

Thanks for the link Karen. Looks like a good variety.
It reminded me the "Black Krim" I grew last year.(originated in Crimea)....that is why I asked.Very tasty.
I only grow Romas this year for making sauce for spaghetti. Our weather this year is also not very good for tomatoes.
