Looks wonderful. I had that Clematis some years ago, and as you say, the scent is gorgeous. I always thought it had a marzipan aroma!

Thank you ladies...can you believe it 2 years ago the area had to be excavated for Welsh water to search for the water leak...Most of the shrubs had to be removed and replanted...

I thought so, I loved it as it was planted near a seat and the scent wafted around.
