I took advantage of an end of season sale and bought this, so it is blooming later than other Hippies. I also have some lilies that will be flowering soon.
It is a dark red - the color of the Portuguese football team, Benfica.

All I really know is that Santa Clara, the team in the Azores, keeps getting relegated. There needs to be a green one for Sporting, the other big team in Portugal.

That's a really lovely flower, Wylie! I hadn't heard of this variety before!
I have lots of bulbs growing on the balcony which I expect will flower again next year.
