Planted 18 months ago...love the black stems...seems to maintain that conical shape.

Do you water your garden most days? I've tried to only water my pots this year. The sunny border has mainly drought tolerant plants, but even they are looking tired..

Like you only the pots and the perrenials occasionally.I noticed last week how tired the plants were looking here.Looking forward to the tulip planting.

That's a shame Ang...how is your garden at the moment? This site looks like it's practically non existent. The adverts are becoming bloglike now.

Gardening here has been difficult because so little rain. It goes round us but not on us, it seems, Meadow. Over the last few years it feels like constant re-assessment is needed about what will grow well in this garden and by this end of the year I have run out of enthusiasm if I'm honest.
As for the site itself I have my doubts about it. There seems so little input by members but I understand why that may be. I don't think it can carry on like this.

My enthusiasm is quickly waining too..I use to look forward to reading and seeing the different members input.Very few people left,as you say.
