Enjoying the last few flowers on the Augustifolia.

Lovely ... this year has been so devoid of Butterflies in our garden ... just a few Cabbage Whites around now ... a real shame.

A butterfly shot out from a shrub just as I was about to trim it...so quick I couldn't identify it.

Julia, we had quite a few in our big laurel tree recently. The butterflies here aren't anything exotic, just the usual ones..but I'm happy to have them.

I have seen more Moths than Butterflies in our garden ...

I’ve planted a load of lavender in my side border Kate. I can’t wait to enjoy walking past it next summer!
