These were spare so popped them into the border..don't normally do this because of the frequent critter visits..if all fails it will be the last time!

I wish you well with the new plants, Julia, and let's hope the critters leave them alone.
We have come back from a few days away to find bird feathers all over the garden, quite a big bird judging by them, almost Pheasant looking (!) but also found three bowl shaped 'craters' in the borders! Soil all over the lawn so no idea what has done that! I shall have to sit up all night to find out ... not!

Thanks Julia, I have found Goldfinch feathers before but this was definitely a larger bird.
