It’s growing very well. I think I’ve had it for 2 1/2 years. It was very tiny.

I thought for a moment that it was dying - with the yellow leaves!!! 🤣

The leaves have major transitions during development. The leaves open red, pink, magenta then to this color before turning green. All my Garcinias go through these transitions. It’s quite spectacular!

Yes, all the Garcinia species are quite spectacular!

They all grow very well outside, even though some are small. They’re really tough, hardy plants.

"Hardy" meaning they can live outside in your climate all year but what about the UK climate? I bet they wouldn't survive in our climate for long!

They appear to tolerate cool weather, but I was reading not below freezing temps. It never goes below freezing here and we never have frost. Actually, January morning temps very rarely ever go below 40 degrees f or 5 or 6 degrees c.
