An unusual colour..... Do you know the name of this one Lori? Would be nice to get it here in the U.K

I wish I could tell you, Grenville. I bought a bagged selection of mixed colour Dahlias by a Dutch Company, the name of which escapes me. After looking about I've found that I received a true variety in the package that I bought not only in colour but in form as well... the above looks like it might be a fimbriated dahlia or a modified cactus...there are as many forms as stars in the sky, it seems... I have a ball, a number of cactus...a pompon...and dinnerplate dahlias that are the medium size...by far not the largest available...
This little sorti has given impetus to delve a little deeper into the mountain of info available...but unfortunately I'm no wiser as to the name of this variety. Sorry...perhaps I'll find it in time...

What else?

See who else is growing Dahlia Pinnata (Dahlia).

See who else has plants in genus Dahlia.

This photo is of "Dahlia (dinnerplate)" in Lori's garden
